Strict No-Refund Policy

1. Strict Non-Refundability of All Transactions

Rihlatu Al-Qur'an Academy operates on an advance educational allocation model. Due to the immediate reservation of certified Quran teachers (Mu'allims), administrative onboarding, curriculum provisioning, and cloud infrastructure, all financial transactions are final and irrevocable upon completion.

This non-refundable policy applies unconditionally to, but is not limited to:

• Digital Wallet Top-Ups & Tuition Deposits (whether denominated in Nigerian Naira ₦ or US Dollars $);
• Application & Placement Fees for Students, Guardians (Walid), and Teachers (Mu'allim);
• Unused Account Balances or prepaid lesson packages;
• Monthly or Periodic Halaqah Retainers;
• Late cancellations or missed sessions by the student.

2. Digital Wallet Balances as Halaqah Learning Credits

When a parent or student deposits money into their digital wallet, those funds are instantly converted into educational learning credits.

• No Cash Value: Learning credits hold no monetary cash value outside the Academy. They cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, transferred to external bank accounts, or redeemed for fiat currency.
• Internal Family Utility: Learning credits remain active in the account and can be utilized across any registered students within the same family profile for any approved Quran, Tajweed, Tilawah, or Islamic Studies courses.
• No Expiration During Active Enrollment: Unused learning credits do not expire as long as the family account remains in good standing.

3. Account Suspension, Dismissal, and Disciplinary Forfeiture

The Academy holds an unwavering commitment to Islamic adab, student safety, and operational discipline. The Mudir and Executive Administration reserve the absolute, unilateral right to suspend, restrict, bar, or permanently expel any student, parent, guardian, or teacher at any time for:

• Breach of Islamic moral etiquette, disrespectful speech, foul language, or harassment of teachers or staff;
• Attempting to solicit teachers for private, off-platform tutoring or exchanging private contact details without administrative authorization;
• Unauthorized recording, broadcasting, or commercial distribution of live classroom sessions;
• Submission of fraudulent documentation, false identity details, or academic dishonesty;
• Disruption of learning environments or repeated unexcused absences;
• Any conduct deemed by the Mudir to compromise the spiritual integrity or legal safety of the Academy.

4. Class Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Missed Sessions

We recognize that emergencies occur. The platform provides structured schedule flexibility within the following rules:

• Advance Notice Rescheduling (24+ Hours): If a student or parent reschedules or cancels a scheduled halaqah at least 24 hours prior to the lesson start time, the full lesson credit is preserved in the family wallet for rescheduling with an available teacher.
• Late Notice / Student Missed Class (Under 24 Hours): Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or student non-attendance (no-show) result in the scheduled session fee being billed in full to honor the dedicated time reserved by the Mu'allim. No refund or credit replacement is provided.
• Teacher Absence or Platform Technical Failure: If an assigned teacher is unavailable or fails to attend an authorized session without prior arrangement, or if verified server infrastructure failure halts a lesson, the lesson fee is automatically credited back to the parent's wallet as halaqah learning credits. No cash refund is disbursed.

5. Prohibition of Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

By enrolling, you expressly agree that you will not initiate, file, or pursue any chargeback, payment dispute, claim, or reversal request with your credit card company, bank, debit card issuer, PayPal, Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, or any payment processor for any payments made to Rihlatu Al-Qur'an Academy.

You acknowledge that all fees are non-refundable and that filing a dispute or chargeback constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. In the event a chargeback or dispute is initiated:

• The associated user account, family profile, and all related student enrollments will be immediately and permanently terminated;
• All remaining credits and academic records will be frozen;
• You agree to pay an administrative dispute defense fee of $100.00 USD (or ₦100,000 NGN) plus all associated legal, administrative, and third-party recovery costs incurred by the Academy in contesting the dispute;
• The Academy reserves the right to pursue full civil recovery and report fraudulent payment chargebacks to consumer fraud reporting agencies.

6. Mu'allim (Teacher) Application & Screening Fees

All application evaluation, background check, and recitation assessment fees paid by prospective Mu'allims during application submission are strictly non-refundable. These fees cover the cost of academic review by the Mudir and Senior Quran Scholars. The fee remains non-refundable regardless of whether the applicant is approved, deferred, or rejected.

7. Acceptance and Binding Agreement

By clicking "Agree", completing registration, or transferring funds to the Academy, you affirm under oath and legal penalty that you have read, comprehended, and unconditionally surrendered any claim to cash refunds, chargebacks, or restitution, and accept the absolute authority of Rihlatu Al-Qur'an Academy over user status, discipline, and account management.
